JusticeI’m Tomás 25 & for the past nine months have been studying towards a post-grad diploma in Law at DIT. Took a round-about way of getting there but I’m of the opinion that any person that knows what they want to do or be at 17 is either insane or hopelessly stupid.

I’m gonna be writing a little bit about the Irish legal system, things people should be aware of like the flaws in the system that can be changed far more quickly & easily than the naysayers say it can be done, and also just bringing up topics that may interest people.

I’m doing this in the hope that people will realise that the law isn’t just some reference to some case you saw reported on the news, they involve real people who are suffering ‘real’ injustice social or otherise, and that jurisprudence is as important to you’re well-being as the economy. And it’s good to know a little bit about how you’re rights are being qualified and decided for you, so you’ll know that the next time your rights are trampled on by the people at Leinster House you don’t just have to put up with it… Lex Mala, Lex Nulla… A bad law is no law.
